Why a site about the process

Descriptions of this programme tend to collapse into four bullet points and a number of days. The actual sequence has more stages than that, they do not all belong to the same party, and the one that decides the outcome carries no money at all — which is precisely why it gets left out of summaries written to sell something.

This site describes the sequence properly: what happens, in what order, triggered by what, performed by whom.

Where applications actually stall

Two stages account for nearly all lost time, and neither is the one people expect.

The first is document collection, which happens before anything is submitted. Police certificates, civil records, apostilles and certified translations arrive on the schedules of the offices that produce them. Someone who has lived in one country for a decade has a straightforward file; someone who has moved four times is waiting on four separate authorities, and the slowest sets the date.

The second is the background check, and its difficulty is structural rather than procedural. The fee falls due before the examination starts and is not returned when it goes badly. A refusal generally arrives without explanation. There is consequently rarely an opportunity to answer an objection, which is why everything here argues for getting the file right before submission rather than repairing it after.

Where the figures originate

Amounts quoted here come from the programme's own fee structure. A sole applicant contributes one hundred and thirty thousand US dollars, with defined increases for a spouse and for each child, and twenty-five thousand for every further dependant. Separately, and before any check begins, five thousand dollars is payable for due diligence and is not refundable in any circumstance.

Since regulation fixes those amounts, they do not vary by agent or by applicant. That makes them a diagnostic: where a quotation departs from them, what has moved is the agent's own fee, relabelled.

On the passport's reach

Eighty-eight destinations, visa-free or visa on arrival. Considerably larger figures circulate, and they describe the period before 2023, when European and British arrangements were withdrawn within five months of each other. Any page still listing European capitals is repeating something that stopped being true two years ago.

What is not claimed here

That an application will succeed — the Citizenship Commission alone decides that. That it will finish by a given date — no service standard is published, and the figures in circulation are the market's, not the government's. And no official status whatsoever: every authority named on this site is named to explain its role.

Questions

Send them through the form. The ones worth asking earliest are the ones people delay — an old conviction, an undocumented transfer, a refusal from another programme. Each is ordinarily manageable before a file is lodged, and considerably less so afterwards.
